Alongside the exhibition Los Angeles - A Fiction (09.22. – 01.22.2017), it was published a book with a subjective selection of literature written in or about Los Angeles during the last 50 years. Quotes and extracts from these writings was organized so that they in turn would tell a potential story, acting as an amplification for the artworks.
Los Angeles is a city with a flourishing diversity of artists who have created their own visions and artistic languages within the same social and geographical environment, but which have taken them on different routes. The concept of this exhibition was to create a fictional and subjective view of Los Angeles where many narratives generate a flowing synergy between the artworks.
