Stories or narratives with combinations of linear and fragmented time are characteristic for Tandberg’s compositions, which, in spite of close attention to formal means, often have a conceptual character. This artist willingly uses humour as an effectual means in her art; absurd characteristics and attributes often lend associations to surrealism. This exhibition gives an overview of the last 10 years of Vibeke Tandberg’s production, and includes the works Undo (2003) and Old Man Going Up and Down a Staircase(2003), exhibited here for the first time.
