But rather than pursuing scenic reconstructions, Jeff Wall uses references to specific details to widen the horizons of meaning and function. The art photographer Jeff Wall, who is also a trained art historian, has made a lot of staged art works based on a subtle connection between people and situations. At first, the pictures may look like snapshots, but at closer examination Wall’s photographs reveal interesting reflections on human relations and aesthetical aspects.
