Tjuvholmen Sculpture Park

Tjuvholmen Sculpture Park was established with advice from Poul Erik Tøjner, director of the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art. Louisiana outside Copenhagen is known for its sculpture park and location, where the experience of art, nature and architecture complement each other.

At Tjuvholmen the park surrounds the new Astrup Fearnley Museet, where Italian architect Renzo Piano and his team designed both the museum building and the park. The park consists of seven sculptures created by notable international contemporary artists such as Louise Bourgeois, Antony Gormley, Anish Kapoor, Ellsworth Kelly, Ugo Rondinone, Franz West and the duo Peter Fischli & David Weiss.
