Flying Glass | Family Workshop by Roza Moshtaghi

Coreographer and artist Roza Moshtaghi will guide you through this family workshop where we will work with patterns of tape on windows.

The family workshop is free, but capacity is limited. Some waiting time may occur if the workshop reaches full capacity.

Thgis workshop invites families to draw patterns on paper. Together, the group will then recreate these designs on the windows of the museum using tape. Through this process, we will temporarily reshape the museum’s facade, turning it into a visible statement of solidarity.

This workshop is an opportunity to come together and voice a unified “No to War.”

Up to 85% of injuries near a missile or bomb explosion are caused by flying glass. Glass shatters because of the blast wave and the sudden drop in pressure.

That is why people living in a  country under war and bombardment are taping their windows to reduce the risk. Some wars last for months, even years, so people try to adapt the taped windows into the decorations.

This Sunday’s family workshop will take place in the museum foyer of the building closest to the sculpture park. The workshop is open to all, with children accompanied by adults. Drop-in between 12:00 and 16:00.
