Would you like to organize events, meetings, receptions, conferences or celebrations in a unique setting? We offer rental of the museum’s exhibition spaces, often in combination with a guided tour in the museum. There are good opportunities for both an academic and cultural dividends.

The Meeting Room

The meeting room is amongst Oslo’s finest with a view over the Oslo fjord. It is located on the top floor of the museum, it is accessible at day and nighttime and it has an outdoor terrace.

Where: Building 2, 4th floor
Total size: 41 square meters
Capacity: 16 people
Technical supply: Projector, screen, different connections to PC/Mac are available in addition to “Anysync Transmitter” wireless system, two speakers and Wi-Fi. Flipchart and whiteboard also available.

The Kiefer Hall

The Kiefer Hall is suitable for conferences, receptions, dinners and other types of events. The hall is accessible to rent both during and after the museums opening hours.

Where: Building 2, 2nd floor
Total size: 493 square meters
Capacity: 300 people standing/mingling, 200 people sitting in a theatre formation, 150 people for a sit down dinner

The First Floor

This space is where we exhibit temporary exhibitions from The Astrup Fearnley Collection, and therefor changes its character throughout the year. It is suitable for dinners, receptions and celebrations.

The Education Room

The education room is located within the museum’s info lounge in building 2 with the Astrup Fearnley Collection. The room can take up to 50 people in cinema format but can also be rigged with tables and chairs for workshops. In connection with events here, the adjoining info lounge can be used for mingling and light serving.

Info Lounge

Our info lounge, which is located next to the education room, is also available for rent and is suitable for both smaller lectures and for mingling in connection with events. The lounge is a collaboration between the museum and Källemo, who have furnished the room with their noteworthy design products and have created both an inspiring and comfortable reading area.

The Main Hall

The main hall is an exciting space that changes character according to which temporary exhibitions are shown there. This space is suitable for dinners, receptions and celebrations.

The Mezzanine

The Main Hall is linked to a mezzanine on the first floor that can be used in combination with an event on the ground floor.

The Terrace
