The Norwegian Soloists’ Choir x Astrup Fearnley Museet

A playful meeting between voices and art

Join The Norwegian Soloists’ Choir and conductor Yuval Weinberg as they take over one of Oslo’s most iconic art museums.

The doors open to an unique experience where music and visual art intertwine – a playful exploration where the audience becomes part of the journey.

A single voice takes the lead, guiding you through the museum’s exhibition of works from the Astrup Fearnley Collection. Along the way, you will encounter the singers of The Norwegian Soloists’ Choir in new ways – in powerful choral sound, and up close as soloists and in small ensembles.

The musical program is inspired by the collection and features a cappella works from the 20th and 21st centuries, with composers such as Thomas Jennefelt, R. Murray Schafer, Beat Furrer, and Pelle Gudmundsen-Holmgreen – ranging from the intimate and beautiful to the wild and eccentric.

A vivid dialogue between art and music comes to life. Exactly which works you will hear remains a surprise.

Welcome to an art experience beyond the ordinary – and a glimpse of what’s to come when Yuval Weinberg becomes the choir’s Artistic Director in the autumn of 2026.
