The Emilio Braga brand was founded in 1918, by Emilio da Silva Braga himself. Almost a century later, and now in the hands of the fifth generation of the family, Emilio Braga Stationery continues to make their iconic notebooks from their workshop just outside Lisbon, Portugal.

Crafted by hand, the notebooks are famed for their marbled covers and meticulously wrapped corners in bright colours. The edge of each page is hand-sponged into a distinctive pattern, ensuring that each notebook is genuinely unique. Each book comes with a piece of card lined on one side and squares on the other to use as a writing guide.
Apart from a little bit of help from digital technology, these iconic notebooks have remained largely the same for nearly a century. Still a family business, it is THE genuine Portuguese Notebook.

All materials used are non-toxic and most of the materials are recycled and recyclable, all paper used comes from FSC certified suppliers.
