Riso Workshop | Members Only
10 Dec, 17:00 — 19:00
Experiment with risograph printing together with artist and designer Marie Payan
The workshop is free for museum members, but registration is required. Limited capacity.
Risograph printing is done with a risograph machine. It looks like a photocopier but uses a process similar to silkscreen printing, layering one color at a time through a stencil. Risograph prints have a unique aesthetic and are very environmentally friendly compared to other printing techniques. Inspired by selected works from the collection, we will combine different motifs to create our own multicolored prints.

The workshop is led by Marie Payan (b. 1993, Montpellier), an interdisciplinary artist, designer, and workshop facilitator based in Oslo. She is co-founder of JAM Collective and Oslo Zine Fest, and runs oonda – a creative workshop space where she has been organizing risograph and self-publishing workshops since 2020.
