Curator-led Walkthrough | Members Only

Join the curator-led walkthrough with Solveig Øvstebø in the new exhibition with Beatriz González

Known as la maestra of Colombian art, Beatriz González (1932–2026) was one of the most important and influential Latin American artists of the 20th century. This exhibition was developed in close dialogue with the artist before her passing in January 2026. Bringing together over 150 artworks, it stands as a powerful tribute to González’s extraordinary life and legacy.

From monumental paintings to repurposed furniture, wallpaper and installations, González draws from found images in popular culture and politics. With a distinctive graphic style and bold palette, her work explores the power and impact of the images we encounter every day, probing their potential to communicate and shape our perceptions of the world.

As a member, you are warmly invited to explore the exhibition together with Executive Director and Chief Curator Solveig Øvstebø. Participation is free, but registration is required.
