Silkscreen Workshop | Members Only
16 Oct, 17:00 — 19:00
Try your hand at silkscreen printing together with artist Joakim Thorendahl!
The workshop is free for museum members, but registration is required. Limited capacity.
In the exhibition Burning the Days by American artist Lutz Bacher, we encounter the work In Memory of My Feelings (1990). The piece consists of a filing cabinet and wall-mounted drawers, each containing a folded T-shirt. Each shirt is printed with statements drawn from a personality test where participants are asked to complete unfinished sentences. At the workshop, you will silkscreen a similar statement onto your own T-shirt, which you can then choose to complete using textile markers. If you don’t bring your own T-shirt, you can print onto a tote bag provided by the museum.
