Family Workshop | Watercolor
Sun, 12:00 — 16:00
Welcome to the first Family Workshop of the fall – a creative meeting place for young and old artists alike! This time, we’re exploring watercolor painting, a technique that lets colors flow and come alive on the paper.
Watercolor is like magic – it can be light and airy like a cloud, or deep and mysterious like a lake. Together, we’ll experiment with water, pigments, and paper, and see what happens when colors meet, blend, and build up in layers.
We’ll try out different techniques and use real watercolor paper and artist-quality pigments. You’ll create your own painting, and then choose whether to display it in our learning space or take it home with you.
What will you express? A feeling, a memory – or perhaps something entirely new?
Just bring your curiosity – we’ve got the rest you need. Join us for a colorful and creative day!
Family workshops are held every Sunday and are open for drop-in between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM. The activities are related to current exhibitions and are designed for children and adults to enjoy together.
The workshop is free for everyone, but adults over 20 must pay the museum entrance fee. If you’re a member, admission is free.
