Family Workshop | Colorful sculptures

Create a colorful sculpture inspired by the artist Atta Kwami!

How can we express ourselves through colors and shapes? In the family workshop, we take inspiration from Atta Kwami’s colorful sculpture Money Can’t Buy It, which you can see in the exhibition Space Making.

Children receive two cardboard panels each, along with colorful paper sheets to cut shapes from. Once the panels are covered in patterns and colors, we assemble them into sculptures. What happens when the panels are put together? How does the expression change when viewed from different angles?

Family workshops are held every Sunday and are open for drop-in between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM. The activities are related to current exhibitions and are designed for children and adults to enjoy together.

The workshop is free for everyone, but adults over 20 must pay the museum entrance fee. If you’re a member, admission is free.
